My Sunday Blessing-Nature

the photo above is of some fields near my home I like to walk in, being part of a religion that worships nature makes me very aware of the cycle of the year and how important it all is to our lives. the cycle of the year effects us all whether we're pagan or not and living in harmony with it is very important, it's clear we don't with the rise of things like seasonally effective disorder that we are not.

The beauty and power of nature never ceases to amaze me and will go on amazing me till my death I'm sure. If more people were as involved with nature as pagans the world would be a better and healthier place for all of us and the planet would survive much longer I'm sure. preserving the delicate balance between nature and technology is proving hard with Nature coming out the loser it seems. I have my own garden now so have a chance to grow things and really take part in privacy so I feel very blessed.

Being aware of nature and our connection to it is indeed a blessing.

I would point out, however, that technology does not have to put us at a distance from it --- that's something in the way its used, not the thing itself. You, for example, use a blog and the internet and computers: things that some people would say exemplify technology. Never the less, you are still in touch with nature.

I am planting prairie grasses on my drainfields so that I may see the waving grasses each day.

Nature speaks to us in so many ways when we listen and respect. Nature is a healer. This was a beautiful read. Happy ByB Sunday!

This is a beautiful photo. As we await a Nor'easter, I wonder if we will ever see such a sight this year!
