My Pagan Book Store.

I've just opened a pagan book shop with Amazon UK to compliment my Pagan Book reviews, please visit it and have a look there are some fantastic books at very cheap prices. It's where I get most of my books except those I buy in local book shops, but selection of Pagan books I've found since searching the internet is astounding and I'm glad to launch a book store to publicise them. Amazons selection of Pagan Books leaves my local book shops in the dust for certain, the range of books available is far greater than I ever thought.

I spent a while designing the colours and selecting a banner and would like peoples feed back on the place, so if you look please leave a comment about it. It's great to have a store where I can sell the type of books I want to sell, other internet book shops I've had have had restrictions on what I can sell and I've had to sell books on all types of crappy subjects. I hope my Pagan readers find the shop useful and see something they like, you can never have too many books on the craft :). The post title is the link or you can just click here to see it. I'll try and create a banner or button for it, if anyone can help with that please leave a comment.

Update 30/03/09- There's now categories for herbal medicine books and other pagan items including Anointing Oil. You can find the store from the widget in the sidebar to the right.

Whatever said...

Started your own bookstore eh? I have to say I've felt tempted by that, but I figured that I'd spend way too much time reading the stuff I'm supposed to sell ;-)

After seeing your BYBS postings, I ended up reading a bit about Jet. According to wikipedia, it's actually fossilized wood. The "stogy" name for it is "lignite." They also mention the bit about Queen Victoria. One of the things I really like about BYBS and blogging in general is learning about new things.

Just thought I'd leave some information about my book to consider for your bookstore.
I've recently joined the Wiccan Path, and am wanting to let all share in the inspiration I've found. I am half way through my apprentice year, and am amazed after my first Wiccan conference the energy, minds and spirit of the Wiccan/Pagan community. So, in adding to this strength in this new age, here is the information I wanted to share with you.

I have just released my new book “The Lost Secret of Fairies: The Crystal Keeper Chronicles Book 1".
It is for Middle Readers 9-12 years old and deals with the theme of self-confidence and
protecting our environment. It is a way to reach and give inspiration to children 9-12, when believing in anything and having faith in yourself seems impossible.

Orders can be made through Trafford Publishing through their website at: http://www.trafford.com/07-2000.

Wholesale rates are available through the publisher. For inquiries about whole seller purchases, please contact their order department at orders@trafford.com .

My book is also available on Amazon.com and BookSense.com.

Here is a little about the book:
Wanda had always read about adventure. Now she was in the middle of one. The World of Fairies is real, and she is their new Crystal Keeper, human caretaker to the World of Fairies. But the Fairy World is in trouble. The fairies are falling ill from the pollution that ravishes the world above. Wanda has to find the key to their cure, before it's too late.

But like in all adventures, there are a few unanswered questions to solve. What has happened to the old Keeper? What are Germites? And can Wanda get used to her cat giving her backtalk while trying not to get grounded for helping the fairies? Join Wanda on her adventure, while she finds out that sometimes the best solution to a problem is the one you find within yourself.

A little about the author Tiffany Turner:
I have always loved crystals and I’ve enjoyed wire-wrapping crystal pendants since 1989. Recently, I have been practicing Reiki Healing along with selling my jewelry. My book is the next step on my journey to help others heal and believe.
When not writing, I teach 3rd graders in San Jose how to read and write while using my own writing experiences to inspire my students. I enjoy traveling to exciting places while researching ideas for stories and novels. I also participate in a Renaissance Acting Guild where I play the first lady-in-waiting to Mary, Queen of the Scots, play the Gaelic Harp, and a fairy character.

Hello,

My name is Robert Denham,

and I just wrote my first book on Pagan and Elven High Magick called "Wind in the attic" By Robert J Denham

I was wondering if you would be interested in adding it to your collection of Pagan writtings?

A link to the Amazon, and barns and Noble links where the book can be bought from can be

found at my personal site -> http://www.rjdenham.webs.com

The book is doing well here in London Ontario and I would just like to pass it on to others,

there is some great information in it not spoke of in the occult world today.

A complete discription of the book can be read at the above URL under the tab "books for sale"

Kind regards,

Robert Denham.
