Butterfly wings work like LEDs, what else have they been hiding from us?

I liked this story, it seems butterflies wings have been illuminated in a similar way to the way LED's work for millions of years, and we've only just noticed. I wonder if the butterflies are going to get compensation? Who is thier lawyer anyway? And have they been held accountable for the butterfly effect yet?

Them butterflies have got a lot to answer for I tells ya, they look pretty and have a short life span, but they are trying to take over the world I'm sure of it! They are everywhere in the summer flying about, sitting on flowers drinking the sweet nectar, for what? They don't even make honey! I shall expand on this theory as I find more evidence...

Why do you have a "Impeach Bush" banner on your site when you're not even an American citizen ?

Because his decisions effect The UK as much as the USA, we were not at war before he became president.

for my sins I bought a place near to were I lived, in Peterlee... It's a new town (or was in the 50's). Early on in its construction is was discovered that part of the site was being used by the very rare Argus Buterfly.... SO, in good old notrthern tradition the entire landscape in which this rare butterfly lived was flattened by bulldozers.... and in a cruel twist a public house was built and named.... "The Argus Butterfly".

I dont live there anymore.

"Hey Clive, did you see the stupid humans FINALLY worked out that LEDs work in the same way as our wings?"

"Heh. They're so dim. Wait till they discover that bees solved Fermat's last theorem way back in 1963 - it'll blow their minds."
