The First Day Of Yule

Here's the first blurry photo's of my Yule/Christmas Decorations, and above it a picture of the next lot of Jewel biscuits, plus the Italian recipe that went a bit wrong, as I added the chocolate chips at the beginning instead of melting them over the top when finished like I was supposed to.
For those of you who don't know Yule is when Wiccans celebrate the birth of the God from the Mother God (you can see where Christianity nicked it all from now can't you?)

Sounds interesting. I'd like to know more about your Yule beliefs. As a Christian, I am well aware that the arbitrary choice of Dec. 25th for Jesus' birth is based in pagan celebrations, but I always assumed it was a Roman holiday that was incorporated.

I'll try and find some better information for tomorrow, thanks for your interest, apparently they estimate jesus was born around february from star charts of the time, which is another reason Christians celebrate this time of year.
